Not many companies making pads for the base C8 Z06 yet. First time I’ve tried Cobalt and they was excellent. Ran 8 sessions at VIRginia International Raceway and that track has two very big braking zones; one from 160+ mph and the other from 155 mph. These were the XR2 pads with Hoosier tires. Our very own Austin Bradshaw scored a 2nd place podium finish at the SCCA National Championship Runoffs in the E-Production class with his FB Mazda RX7! He had a fast BMW E36 on his tail all race long but he was able to fend him off in the brake zones to hold on to 2nd. Road America is very demanding on braking systems.
